1974 ELGEKA GREECE

Athens - No. 1 distributor in Greece establishment / foundation.

2000 ELGEKA IN ROMANIA
ELGEKA chooses Romania to be the first country from the Balkan distribution plan, investing 7 million EUR.

 

2000 TIMBER BUSINESS

Starting with year 2000 ELGEKA Romania involves itself in the timber export business (soft white wood, hard wood). Among the important clients we recall Shelman (Grecia), Demetriades (Cipru), Xylexper (Grecia).

 

2001 INVESTMENTS 

ELGEKA invests other 5 million EUR.

 

2002 ELGEKA - FERFELIS Romania
ELGEKA Romania has overtake national distribution for CREAM LINE ROMANIA products - brand FINETTI.

 

2003 ACTIVITY EXTENSION

ELGEKA - FERFELIS strengthen itself by extending its activity object towards non-food products import and distribution.

 

"AMTECH", a complex range of hand tools and accessories available to any kind of customer, fulfilling any desire regarding usage and quality turns up on the Romanian market.

 

2003 ARDEALUL

In 2003 ELGEKA - FERFELIS becomes national distributor of "ARDEALUL"'s products.

 

2004 TOTAL COVERAGE

ELGEKA - FERFELIS opens two new branches at Oradea and Suceava, being this way more closely in achieving its main goal: market total coverage.

 

2004 RECKITT BENCKISER

ELGEKA - FERFELIS undertake the national distribution of "RECKITT BENCKISER" products.

 

2004 GIARDINO

The non-food division starts collaborating with "Garden Trade International", company recognised as one of the most important suppliers of garden-fences and wire netting in Benelux and Germany.

 

"Giardino" represents on the reference market quality products at an affordable price. 

 

2005 INVESTMENTS

ELGEKA - FERFELIS owns 70% of CERA VILLA Design S.R.L - new company that wishes to become one of the most important distributors of sanitary and ceramic articles.

 

CERA VILLA meets customers needs and wishes with a complex range of bathroom accessories (batteries, wash-hand basins, sinks, shower cabins), house finishing, adhesives, floor tiles, wall tiles (porcelain).

  

2005 EXPANSION

In September 2005 ELGEKA - FERFELIS opens one new branch in Targu Mures

 

 

2006 ANTREFRIG

Starting with April 2006 ELGEKA - FERFELIS undertake the national distribution of  "ANTREFRIG" products.
